How should I prepare my skin for a Spray Tan?
Prior to having a spray tan please shower and for optimum results please exfoliate the skin using either a loofah mitt or exfoliation cream to remove dead skin cells. Please do not apply any deodorant or body moisturizers to the skin and bring with you to your appointment dark loose fitting clothing.
Do the hairs on the face grow back thicker following a Dermal Planing?
No. It is physiologically impossible for the vellous hairs to grow back thicker. Once the hair is cut, it has a blunt edge but this blunt edge does not mean that the hair structure itself has been physiologically altered. Vellous hair when cut or removed will grow back the same.
How often do you recommend Dermal Planing?
Dermal Planing can be performed about every 6-8 weeks. As we want the skin to complete its normal skin cycle so it is not recommended any earlier than this time frame. It is also dependant on individual results but it is a great way to treat both a dull skin and a 'fuzzy' face!
